My Approach

I tailor my treatment approach to best fit the needs and desires of my clients, and believe effective therapy is a collaborative effort by both the therapist and client. Whether it's short-term therapy for adjustment or life stage issues, or longer-term therapy for more persistent or complex issues, counseling can have a positive impact.
I have worked with a wide variety of clients and currently see young adults, adults, couples and families.  My special interests are working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, family issues, self-esteem and trauma.  My approaches include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focus Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, Client-Centered, Mindfulness practices, and Strength-based interventions.
